No to the Gorbachov Gala!

The "Gorbachov Gala " concert with its entry price of £399 per ticket-which is over 6 times
weekly dole money,4 times the normal old age pension and more than the average weekly
wage for workers,is an insult to the working people of Britain.This gala to celebrate the life of a a third rate traitor is being held at a time when benefits are being cut ,wages are frozen and prices are soaring.This is the ruling class thanking a treacherous revisionist turncoat for his work in destroying socialism and denying hope of a better future for millions of workers in the world.
Gorbachov was the ultimate traitor,a traitor who destroyed the country and party that he
was the leader of ,such an act has no parallel in history.Gorbachov's treachery plunged the Soviet people into the abyss of poverty and misery.Much is said about the "victims of Stalinism" but 100s of 1000s died in inter ethnic conflicts that arose after Gorbachov
destroying socialism and dissolving the USSR.

Gorbachov sold the fate of the Soviet people and indeed the international working class
for dollars and to be rewarded with an event like. this.What a judas !

It is no surprise that an event like this is not being held in Moscow or any other former
socialist country but here in London the capital of the world's oldest imperialist power
However ,workers of London say that he is not welcome here.Gorbachov should be
sent back to the former USSR to face trial.
