Stop British military aid to Kiev - End the war in Donbass October 28th

Protest opposite Downing Street, Whitehall, London
Saturday 28 October, 3.00-4.30pm

We urge everyone who supports
the resistance against fascism in Ukraine
to support this protest
In February 2014 a fascist-backed coup took place in Ukraine, backed by the US and EU, and two months later over 50 anti-fascists were murdered at the Trade Union House in Odessa when it was surrounded by a fascist-nationalist mob and petrol-bombed. In March 2014 CIA Director John Brennan visited Kiev, and a week later an “Anti-Terrorist Operation” against was announced in the largely Russian-speaking Donbass region of eastern Ukraine. An all-out air and ground assault with tanks, planes and missiles began in April 2014 against a handful of rebel fighters. That war continues today, with fascist militias like the Azov Brigade (picture) on the front line. Almost 4,000 Donbass civilians have been killed in attacks by the fascists and the Ukraine armed forces, and 2 million regugees created. 731 people were killed in the People’s Republic of Donbass alone by the end of May this year. The British government is providing military trainers for those forces, some of whom who are quite possibly members of 80 fascist militias which have been integrated in to Ukraine’s armed forces with complete US backing. We are calling for all British support for this illegal regime to end, and for the US and EU to support implementation of the 2016 Minsk agreements to end the war in the Donbass.

We will be calling for:

Justice for the Odessa Trade Union House Fire victims!
Support for the Committee of Mothers of Odessa.
End the far right reign of terror in Ukraine!
End British military and other aid to the illegal Ukraine government.
Implement the Minsk 2 Accords, bring peace to Ukraine.
Solidarity with people of the Lugansk and Donetsk Republics.
Solidarity with all anti-fascists in Ukraine.

Join us on Saturday 28 October, 3.00-4.30pm!
Organised by the New Communist Party, Socialist Fight, Posadists in Britain,
and members of Solidarity with the Anti-Fascist Resistance in Ukraine.
