25 years ago on the 25th of December shots rang out and two Romanian communists Nicolae and Elena Ceausescu lay dead having been murdered by a fascist firing squad of counter-revolutionaries. Shamefully British communists are silent on this .
Complicit in Ceausescu’s was the arch traitor Gorbachov as well as the imperialist ruling class in the West and Romanian traitors like Ion Illeiscu.
Ceausescu was a communist from an early age. He was also a great Romanian patriot but also an internationalist , a friend of People's Korea and the Asian socialist countries. He raised living standards for the Romanian working people . Under his leadership industrial production increased . In the last few years of socialist Romania it went up 20%. Romania's debts were paid off completely, some say that this was a disaster for the international imperialist bankers so they ordered that he be bumped off. It is believed that Gorbachov did a deal with Reagan at the Malta Summit to have Ceausescu eliminated. The events of December 1989 were the result of combined operations by the Soviet KGB and the CIA and other Western Intelligence services(the revisionist regime in Hungary also played a role in this). There are some stories that Soviet troops in plainclothes crossed over into Romania and took part in the counter-revolution.

Some say Ceausescu made mistakes particularly on the middle east . Ceaseucu's one big mistake was putting Ion Illeiscu under house arrrest in 1971 and not dealing with him in the decisive manner that the Koreans dealt with Jang Song Thaek.
