Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in an article
calls on the countries and people aspiring after the independent
development and social progress to have clear understanding of the
danger and aftereffects of the imperialists' bourgeois ideological and
cultural poisoning and nip it in its bud.
Dignity of nations is being mercilessly violated and development of
their economy is disturbed in some countries and regions, the article
notes, and goes on:
Such abnormal situation is ascribable to the fact that those
countries didn't stand resolutely against the imperialists' ideological
and cultural poisoning as they failed to keep strict vigilance over it.
The imperialists have desperately worked to disseminate bourgeois
ideology and culture as a single criterion. This is aimed to create
illusions about them and dominate other countries at will by letting
their idea and culture prevail in the world. This is an ulterior design
reflected in "freedom" of idea and culture touted by them.
The imperialists are abusing the "freedom" of idea and culture as a
pretext to deliberately interfere in the internal affairs of other
countries and violate and infringe upon their state sovereignty.
They are accusing the countries not tolerating bourgeois idea and
culture of violating "human rights". This smear campaign is a prelude to
invasion, as evidenced by the situation in some Mideast countries in
recent years.
Now the main target of the imperialists' ideological and cultural
poisoning is the anti-imperialist independent countries and those with
rich natural resources or in strategic vantage points.
Openly trumpeting they can easily topple with bourgeois idea and
culture even those countries they find it hard to bring down with
nuclear weapons, the imperialists are staging vicious campaign to
disseminate their corrupt idea and culture.
The situation calls on all countries to totally reject the
imperialists' bourgeois ideological and cultural poisoning and wage
strenuous actions against it. -0
