Crimes of Occupation Troops (5)
Group of the Depraved
The
tragic incident at a U.S. military base in south Korea on April 5th,
1986 still makes our hair stand on end. That afternoon, a soldier at a
U.S. air force base in Songthan tried to take Ho Jong Ae, a 34 year-old
woman worker, to his barracks by force. An elderly man named O Tae Gun
tried to check him, but the brute hit him on the head with a square bar
to faint. Then he tried to rape her. When the woman resisted, he hit her
with his fists and kicked with his boots. When Korean workers came to
rescue her, he fired a M-16 rifle and flame projector, killing 15 of
them brutally and wounding 12 badly.
This incident was only a glimpse of violation of U.S. troops in south Korea against women.
They violate and gang-rape Korean women, whether pregnant or married.
Not contented with it, they do not hesitate to kill them in cold blood.
On
October 4th 1981, a soldier belonging to the U.S. 8th Army Corps raped a
woman at an inn in Rithaewon-Dong , Seoul, and dropped her out of the
window 13m high to death.
On
March 5th 1986, several U.S. soldiers kidnapped a pregnant teacher in
Pongyang Myon, Jaechon County, North Chungchong Province and killed her
after gang-raping. Before this in February 1984, U.S. soldiers committed
the similar crime against a high schoolgirl in Inchon.
They even commit sexual abuse against teenage girls.
In
January 1991, a U.S. soldier raped a 9 year-old primary schoolgirl in
Kasan Myon, Chilgok County, North Kyongsang Province. Such cases are
numerous. All of them clearly show that the U.S. army present in south
Korea is the group of the depraved whose crimes even make the brutes
blush.
It
is natural that the U.S. army in south Korea should be cursed and
denounced as "raping corps" and "sexual violators' corps" at home and
abroad.
