DPRK′s Important Days Marked by Organ of Russian Political Party

Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- The 7th and 8th issues of Serp I Molot, organ of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks of Russia, carried special write-ups on the 17th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung, the 58th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War and the 66th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

It carried an article titled "DPRK" with a photo of the President discussing the work with leader Kim Jong Il. The article said the President is a benefactor who saved the Korean nation from the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule.

July 8 is not a day of sorrow for the Korean people but a day when they express their boundless reverence for him, it said.

Deep reverence of progressive mankind for him is evidenced by the number of the visitors to the Kumsusan Memorial Palace, it added.

The DPRK is now waging a dynamic drive to build a thriving nation, rallied close around Kim Jong Il, it noted, adding:

We sincerely wish the Korean people greater successes in their efforts to build a thriving socialist nation and reunify the country. -0-
