They militarily threatened DPRK and constantly tried to destabilise and ultimately topple the socialist regime of DPRK, labelling the country as "Axis of Evil". They regularly held military exercises even with nuclear submarine and on many occasions staged armed incursions into DPRK. After DPRK's successful nuclear tests and peaceful satellite launch thwarted their attempts of nuclear blackmail and threat the military drills became increasingly more aggressive.
