IACC CONDOLES THE SAD DEMISE OF COMRADE PRESIDENT KIM JONG IL

Manik Mukherjee, General Secretary of International Anti-imperialist Coordinating Committee (IACC) releases the following condolence message

On behalf of the International Anti-imperiaist Coordinating Committee (IACC) and we on my own personal behalf I convey to the Workers Party of Korea and to the Korean people our condolence on the sad and sudden demise of Comrade President Kim Jong Il, General Secretary of the Workers Party of Korea, Chairman of the National Defence Commission and Supreme Commander of the Korean people’s Army. This is not only a loss of the People of DPRK but also of the international socialist movement as a whole. After the disintegration of the socialist camp Comrade Kim Jong Il resolutely fought to uphold the ideal of communism and socialism and to protect the socialist state of DPRK from US-led imperialist aggression. We are confident that the Workers Party of Korea even in their hour of grief would uphold the legacy of Comrade Kim Jong Il and would firmly defend socialism against the attack of the imperialist camp. The struggling people of India along with the people from all over the world stand in solidarity with the fight of the Workers Party of Korea and of the Korean people to protect socialism in DPRK.

Manik Mukherjee
