Anniversary of Great October Socialist Revolution Marked in Russia

Moscow, November 7 (KCNA) -- Celebrations took place in Russia on the 94th anniversary of the great October socialist revolution.

A ceremony was held to lay wreaths and flowers before the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier outside the Kremlin in Moscow on Nov. 7.

Present there were the mayor of Moscow, City Assemblymen and members of the City Government, delegates of social organizations and war veterans.

A military parade was held at Red Square in memory of the military parade held in Nov. 7, 1941. It was attended by about 6 000 servicepersons, cadets of the military academies and members of the youth and children's patriotic organizations.

There took place a demonstration and rally in Moscow that day to mark the great October socialist revolution.

A military parade and other colorful events were held in Samara City. -0-
