Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- Protesters outside a Vancouver, British Columbia, hotel where former U.S. President George W. Bush appeared Thursday demanded authorities arrest him.
The protesters including human rights activists and Occupy Vancouver members demanded Bush be arrested on war crimes charges. -0
Anti-Capitalist Protest Continues in London
Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- Anti-capitalist protesters outwitted British police on Saturday and succeeded in setting up a second protest camp in the heart of London's financial district.
A column of 700-1 000 protesters set off from the first tented protest camp, set up a week ago in the churchyard of St. Panl's Cathedral, on what one organizer described as "a tour of corporate greed". -0-
Protesters Hold March against Police Brutality in New York
Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- Occupy Wall Street protesters on Saturday staged a march to protest police brutality in New York.
Saturday marked the 16th annual National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality, and the protesters marched across some poor neighborhoods in the city. They denounced the police for brutal suppression of the anti-capitalist protesters and arresting some of them. -0-
