Absurd daydream

CVIA (Complete, Verifiable, Irreversible Abandonment) is specified in a joint statement issued at the summit of G7. CVID (Complete, Verifiable, Irreversible Dismantlement) is specified in a joint statement released at the NATO summit.

The joint statements reflected Washington’s open intention to forcibly dismantle north Korea’s nukes and it is a double-dealing attitude of the US which does not want to negotiate with north Korea, south Korean analysts and mass outlets commented.

The statements brought to light true color of the US preference for denuclearization. The US is going to use such tactics which is no better than a triumphant nation urging a defeated nation to surrender, they said.

The US assertion of unworkable and irrational CVID would spark strong backlash of north Korea and scuttle DPRK-US dialogue, experts in north Korean affairs commented. Washington’s so-called flexible approach toward north Korea is not worthy of discussion as long as the US persists in its hostile policy and sanctions against north Korea and CVID, they added

In memory of two girls

In memory of two girls

A ceremony was held at a park to cherish memory of two schoolgirls Sin Hyo-sun and Sim Mi-sun who were killed by an armored vehicle of the US force in south Korea 19 years ago.

Two schoolgirls who were crushed to death by the US armored car

People respect two girls’ memory

Bitter grudge had not faded away though 19 years passed. We must make the US pay a dear price for the crime, a speaker said at the rally.

The GIs who killed two girls with armored vehicle are living in peace in the US, being left unpunished, the other speaker noted that the unequal south Korea-US alliance contributed to their death.

They in the rally hardened their determination to turn out in the struggle against the foreign force, condemning the US army in south Korea which does not regard the south Korean people’s lives worth those of flies.
