For the right to live
According to the People’s Voice, employees of the Eastar Jet stand firm against their dismissal. The Eastar Jet was established in October 2007. It has been widely used by the people but the demand for travel has met drastic decrease due to COVID-19. It has failed to pay wages to the employees for eight months and it was in financial difficulties. It axed 600 employees in September. The unemployed have been on an indefinite hunger strike from the middle of October outside the National Assembly building. Religious and civil organizations including the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions take part in the hunger strike. They formed a measure committee and demanded a severe punishment of those who dismissed the employees. South Korean mass media describe the mass dismissal is an inevitable result produced by south Korea. |

Eruption of pent-up anger
Eruption of pent-up anger
There is a growing tendency against the US in south Korea. 60 percent south Koreans asserted independent diplomacy with the US, 54 percent said the reduction of the US forces in south Korea and 96.3 percent rejected south Korea's share of defense cost for the US forces. The civil organizations including the Progressive Federation of Students and the Solidarity for the People’s Sovereignty carry on dynamic action in demand of permanent suspension of the south Korea-US joint military drills, the dissolution of the south Korea-US alliance and withdrawal of the US forces from south Korea through one-man demonstration, galvanization of public opinion through internet and exhibition of placards amid spread of COVID-19. The south Korean mass media is building public discontent at the south Korea-US relations. The US puts a brake on the south Korean authorities’ policy toward north Korea and puts pressure upon south Korea to increase the defense cost share and postpone wartime operation control, the mass media including “Hankyoreh” and “Oh, my news” said. South Korea should have the temerity to say "No" to the US and it should not accept gangster-like demand of the US, they added. The US sees the south Korea-US alliance through spectacles of a merchant. The US considers south Korea no more than tributary, even some conservative mass media sharply condemned. The south Korean people would not comply with impertinent requests of the US which has occupied south Korea for 75 years and inflicted immeasurable misfortune and pain upon the south Koreans. The anti-US struggle will be more intense as long as the US army occupies south Korea. |

The working people of Belarus and the moneybags of the West have absolutely different interests! APPEAL left-wing patriotic public associations that formed the Coordination Council "Unity" to the working people of Belarus
The working people of Belarus and the moneybags of the West have absolutely different interests!
APPEAL
left-wing patriotic public associations that formed the Coordination Council "Unity" to the working people of Belarus
Dear Belarusian workers!
After the end of the presidential elections, an extremely explosive situation has developed in our native Belarus: crowds of people organized by pro-Western instigators are taking to the streets and squares of Belarusian cities, stopping work at some enterprises. Cleverly manipulating the minds of the crowd, the organizers of the riots, completely neglecting the safety of people, push them to a coup d'etat, civil war and bloodshed. They don't feel sorry for Belarusian blood!
What for? According to the latest data, the world economy is once again creeping into another economic crisis, a recession is also observed in the Western countries: the USA, Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy, Spain, and a recession has begun in neighboring Poland. Oligarchic circles in the West see one of the ways out of the crisis in carrying out "color revolutions" in other countries with the aim of destroying their economies and eliminating competitors, in capturing sales markets for selling their products and establishing dominance over these countries.
For the peoples of countries where the West manages to carry out a "color revolution", this brings a decline in production, destruction of enterprises, a decline in the living standards of the working people and the entire population, unemployment. The consequences of the “color revolution” can be seen especially clearly in neighboring Ukraine, where there are more natural resources than in Belarus, but people now live there poorer than ours.
The coup in Kiev began in an outwardly very harmless way: many remember how US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland handed out cookies to the Maidan participants in the city center, now Kievites and many Ukrainians remember these handouts with bitterness. According to Nuland herself, the United States spent more than $ 5 billion on the coup in Ukraine.
For the collapse of the economy of the country where the coup is planned, instigators from abroad also use strikes at enterprises. This was the case in Chile in 1973, where the Americans managed to organize a series of strikes in the copper mines, which accelerated the seizure of power by General Pinochet and the introduction of a fascist dictatorship in Chile. This was the case in the late 1980s and early 1990s in the Soviet Union, when, with the help of strikes, enterprises and the country were destroyed, which plunged the peoples of the former Soviet republics into long-term poverty. Many republics still have not got rid of the consequences of these strikes.
As for our Belarus, the instigators from abroad set a very important goal for themselves - the separation of Belarus from Russia and the prevention of the implementation of the Treaty on the creation of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, and not at all the establishment of "democratic order" in Belarus, as some of our naive citizens. And the percentage of votes cast by the citizens of Belarus for this or that candidate is of no concern to the West behind the scenes.
The situation is escalating on the borders of the Belarusian state: NATO has stepped up its exercises in neighboring countries, American troops are being transferred from Germany to Poland, and in Poland nationalist circles are increasingly talking about the revival of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the inclusion of Western Belarus in its composition.
Do we really want this?
Left-wing patriotic public associations that formed the Unity Coordination Council appeal to the working people of Belarus with an appeal not to succumb to the provocations of foreign organizers of the aggression of world imperialism against our republic, which begins with the “peaceful” protests organized by them.
Our public associations are confident that only together with Russia can Belarus successfully develop its economy and ensure national security, as it was in our history. In 1995, 83.3% of Belarusian citizens voted for integration with Russia.
WE WILL NOT LET THE PUPPET BREEDERS OF THE WEST MAKE PUPPETS OUT OF US!
THERE IS NO AGGRESSION OF WORLD IMPERIALISM AGAINST THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS! THERE IS NO "COLOR REVOLUTION" IN BELARUS!
THERE IS NO CIVIL WAR IN OUR PEACEFUL BLUEOUS BELARUS!
Left-wing patriotic public associations of Belarus, which formed the Coordinating Council "UNITY":

Public Association "For Democracy, Social Progress and Justice"
Republican Public Association "For the Union and the Communist Party of the Union"

Alexander Lukashenko's speech in Minsk at a rally for maintaining calm, peace and security in Belarus (16/08/2020)
Dear friends!
(applause)
Thank you for coming.
(thunderous applause, words in support of the President)
Thank you, Gomel residents! I have lived with you for a quarter of a century of difficult years, and you have never let me down.
(applause)
Thank you, fellow citizens of Mogilev and residents of Vitebsk!
(applause)
Thank you, residents of Brest and the Brest region!
(applause)
…Where I spent the most difficult years of my youth - the (after)war years.
Thank you, residents of Grodno!
(applause)
It was then, in the mid-1990s, that we began our election campaign with you, residents of Grodno.
Thank you, Minsk residents!
(applause)
…For the fact that you endure me for a quarter of a century, a person who came to you from the provinces.
(applause)
Dear friends, I did not call you here to protect me, although that won’t hurt. You have come here so that for the first time in a quarter of a century you can defend your country, its independence, your families, your wives, sisters and children!
(thunderous applause)
I didn't want to invite you to this square. First, I know you have a lot to do at home. You are harvesting now. I know, the kids are going to school soon. And you have a lot of work to prepare your children and grandchildren for this. But most importantly, I remember those 1990s: people stood here, workers with pots and kettles, and they asked for food, asked to feed their children. And I saw all of this from that window over there (the rally was held near the building of the Government House, where Alexander Lukashenko worked as a deputy at one time. - Approx. BelTA). And then I vowed to help you and not to let that sort of squares gatherings into the fate of Belarusians.
(applause)
I am not a supporter of streets and squares, I am not a supporter of rallies. But, alas, it is not my fault that I had to call you for help.
(applause)
Dear friends, then, in the mid-1990s, at rallies and squares, unfortunately, and here in parliament, we have destroyed what was given to us by God: our huge Great empire, (USSR) without which no issue in the world could be resolved.
We got the bloody stump of this empire. What did those people want then, what did you want? You asked for a piece of bread. You asked for $ 20 in wages, you asked to start, to restart, to save factories. You asked for a tractor, you asked for a harvester to save the villages. So that you can work in the village, so that there is milk, meat and bread on these Minsk stalls.
(applause)
You asked then not to privatise our factories and plants. You asked not to take the land away from the peasants. You asked not to introduce paid medicine and education. You asked to restore respect for the officer and the soldier who were afraid to go out.
(thunderous applause)
In short, you asked me, a very young, inexperienced person, to lead the people away from the abyss. And we did it! We have done what millions of predecessors dreamed of. We have built a sovereign independent state for the first time in our history! The time chose us then, and we did it!
(thunderous applause)
Further I will speak and address you and not only you. And sometimes not you at all. I want to appeal to those who feel lost today, who are disoriented today. And, maybe, those who are not on this square today. I want to ask you: what do you want now? First, do you want freedom? Tell me, what sort of a freedom ?! Do you want a change? What, what kind of changes, what are we going to change ?! Do you want reforms? Tell me which ones, and we'll start tomorrow! Do you want "helicopter money"? But those standing here on this square, you know, that there is no "helicopter money" delivered through the air, that money must be earned every day. And not in the squares, but in the fields, in factories.
(thunderous applause)
Someone wants new elections. Look around you! Tanks and planes are on 15 minutes after take off from our borders! And these are not just words. NATO troops clink their tracks right at our gates. There is a build-up of military power on the western borders of our country. Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and, unfortunately, our dear Ukraine, its leaders are ordering us to hold new elections.
(numerous exclamations against such a step)
If only we’ll follow their orders, we will go into a tailspin and will never stabilize our airship. We will perish as a state, as a people, as a nation.
(applause)
Instead of being there, at the training grounds, in the Western part of our country, to demonstrate our strength, we keep our guys in the streets and squares in order to calm them down (protesters. - Approx. BelTA). Is this normal, soldiers?
We were offered a "landzug" (human bridge) - from Vilnius to Kiev: "We will put more than 300 thousand of our people there." This "landzug" is a cordon sanitaire that we have destroyed in the mid-1990s. And for that they hate us so much in the West. We must not become a sanitary zone between East and West! We must not become a latrine for Europe!
(thunderous applause)
We are being offered a new government. It was already created abroad. As many as two. They cannot figure out who will come to lead us. But we remember history. There was a bunch of these governments, and now one of them still sits in America. There are three of them. We don't need overseas governments! We need our own government, our own leadership, and we will elect it!
(thunderous applause, words in support of the President)
We are being offered a new power. We are offered NATO soldiers. They want to dress us into bast shoes (traditional footwear of the poorest farmers before the revolution – translator’s note) and to whip us around. Can't you see that ?! If someone wants it, that will be without me. I will never allow the scrapping of our state! I will never allow to the destruction of what was created by our own hands! This will not happen!
(thunderous applause)
But I, like all of you and those who hear us, have children and grandchildren. And I want them to live, as we have lived for a quarter of a century, on our own land, in our own state! To live bad, really bad, good, better, but on our own land, with our own mind!
(applause)
And now not for a meeting, but I must tell you this, since you came here from distant Bragin, you came from Malorita, from the north of our country, from the east and the west. I may no have another such an opportunity to tell you all: yes, we were pursuing a tough course, yes, someone might not like my policy, the government etc. But you and I have approved this power in the mid-1990s by adopting a new Constitution. You then asked me to put things in order. I delivered it to you. You asked to live without corruption and oligarchs. Where are those oligarchs?
(applause)
You asked to clear the streets of Minsk and roads from bandits. I did it for you!
(thunderous applause, words of gratitude)
By force, by iron will, with the boys who are being defamed today (with their parents), we took weapons, there were only a few of us, and we wiped them (bandits. - BelTA) out from our roads! There were 32 gangs in Minsk! A huge amount on the Brest highway! The thieves and the bandits who killed our people! We removed them all in six months!
(thunderous applause)
And today I want to ask that small group of Minsk youth: have you heard about this? Have you ever heard how these criminals had scoffed at our people, how they took away their last money, how they shot right here when I was sitting in this building? Do they even know what it cost? They don't know exactly. Probably, their parents got ill and forgot about it, and did not tell them about it. So, I’ll remind you: 32 gangs that we have destroyed here with these guys - riot police, police, soldiers who followed me.
(thunderous applause)
You asked me, a very young man at that time who did not know where to get some money. You were crying, your wives – “$ 20, Alexander Grigorievich, there is nothing to feed the children with”! We gave more than that. And only a blind man does not see it! Yes, we are not rich. But it’s not $ 20 (salaries in the country. - Approx. BelTA). We live as well as we can, but on our own land!
(thunderous applause)
You asked to teach children, you asked to heal people. We teach and we give medical treatments!
(applause)
And we heal no worse than others, as recent history has shown. Anyone who is not blind, take your head into your hands. Teachers, doctors, creative intelligentsia, put your head in your hands and look at the data. We went our own way in this pandemic, we did not stop the country, not a single plant, not a single village was closed. And people today thank us for that!
(thunderous applause, words of gratitude)
They still reproach me today: the wrong path, no social distance ... But look at them: did they distance themselves at rallies and squares (opponents of the current government. - BelTA) when they were given a command from abroad? They didn’t give a damn about the masks and the distancing from each other! What do they reproach me for? For the fact that for six months, when this terrible disease was going on, I went out of my way so that not a single person would get sick.
(thunderous applause)
With all the difficulties, with all the shortcomings, we have built a beautiful country with you! Whom did you decide to give it to? If someone wants to give away our country, then even when I'm dead, I won't let you!
(thunderous applause, words in support of the President)
Dear friends! About the recent events: I stand in front of you as before God: the elections have taken place. There cannot be more than 80% falsification! Can not be!
(thunderous applause, cheers)
We are being told to hold new elections. I just said: if we will plunge into this swamp. we will never get out! They want to destroy us, they want to weaken us. Who will be holding these elections? Who will go to vote in these elections? Bandits and gang lords!
Let's go to the polls, and who will work? If we go to the polls, we will perish, and this is what they want there, abroad.
They say we showed either harshness or cruelty in the streets. So who did start it, this cruelty? Was it I or the government who started it? We didn't need it! I had to stop them! If they were not stopped, you would not be here now. You would slave for them, and they would divide and tear up the country. If we go to the polls now, we will turn the country on its head.
(loud applause, words of support)
Today, threats are heard to the families of the military, to civil servants - to everyone who has stood by Lukashenko's side. I warn you: you are playing with fire! Soldiers, civil servants, workers, peasants, doctors, teachers, our intelligentsia are able to defend themselves (and will protect) and their families!
(applause)
I ask those people now: do not touch the teachers, they need to get ready for school! Do not touch the doctors, they should not come somewhere from the "red zones" (COVID-19 has not gone away yet) and make excuses! Don't touch the state media journalists and their families! God forbid, something happen, you will answer in full!
(applause)
Calm down, do not push people into violent confrontation! Do not disgrace the country – our peaceful, prosperous and calm country, which everyone in the world envied! Because of this, we have no friends, no supporters. Everyone wants us to kneel. But we will not!
(loud applause, words of support)
But I'm a realist. Listen to me: they will not allow us to have a quiet life. Even if they (opponents of the current government and the country. - BelTA note) calm down now, they will crawl out like rats from their holes after a while. They are already controlled by outsiders, the puppeteers. They would like to see the western borders of our Belarus here, near Minsk, as in 1939, and not near Brest. This will not happen! We will all become the Brest Fortress! We will not give up the country! Belarusians, think with your own head before it's too late today! For tomorrow others will think for us. That is what is so valuable about the fact that you came here to support not only me, but also to protect the country! Do not regret this time that you have spent to come here, to the centre of Minsk!
(loud applause, words of support)
Dear friends, the value of this action is also (it inspires me) that by this you have shown who is the boss in our home! We hear their voices, we understand that this is a minority. But they too must take into account the opinion of the overwhelming majority, our opinion!
(applause)
They (opponents of the current government. - Approx. BelTA) shout to me: "Go away!" No problem! Listen, my dear ones, I am not standing here because I am so desperate to have a strong hold on power. A quarter of a century, I have given all my youth and my best years to serve you and our Motherland.
No problem! Presidents come and go. The OMON will leave, we will disband the army and sit down again on the square ... What and who will we wait here for? Whom will we feed tomorrow? To release criminals and bandits ... No bother. But they will kill and rip off us and our children. Remember this! They are striving for power.
We have already gone through this in the past. Some have not seen it, some have forgotten it. Why repeating it ?! I remind you! We can't repeat it! Stop, don't kill your future, your children's future with your own hands!
We are a tasty little piece for them (opponents of a calm and peaceful Belarusian state. - Approx. BelTA), but a small piece. They will swallow it and will not choke. Think! The time has come, you decide. I would like to ask them: what is the matter with you, Belarusians? You have wanted to live a dignified life for centuries! And remember: if you will destroy - not Lukashenko – if you will destroy the first President, this will be the beginning of your end! You will always live, like in Ukraine and other countries, you’ll kneel and pray to someone unknown.
(loud applause, words of support)
And remember, I appeal to them (opponents of the authorities. - Approx. BelTA), and you will make sure that they do not light this fire, because, as history teaches us, you can never build a future on the ashes. You will be beggars, you will walk with an outstretched hand and ask for a piece of bread, which we can make ourselves today, grow it ourselves. We know how to do it! We don't want anything from anyone. We want them to back off our house!
We will deal with all the issues. I warned you: the elections will be interesting, and after the elections it will be even more interesting. As I have predicted it.
Please take care, take care of Belarus! Because it no longer belongs to us, but to our children and grandchildren! We have somehow lived most of our lives already until today. And what will we leave to them ?! The time is very serious. Therefore, I called you here so that you protect the country, support people today who are going into battle for you, for your future.
Keep in mind that now a lot of all sorts of rubbish has crept out and stigmatised me: Lukashenka is like that, he has money somewhere, he has a house somewhere ... Or they declare that I got sick, or that I have already died ... But I am alive and I will live!
(thunderous applause)
And remember, I never betrayed you, never! And I will never betray you!
(loud applause, words of support)
I repeat once again: thank you very much for showing that you are the masters - from Bragin, Volkovysk, Mogilev and Vitebsk, you are the masters of this country and this capital. They (opponents of the current government. - BelTA note) will remember for a long time that we have gathered here. Thank you very much! I am kneeling before you for the first time in my life! You deserve it!
(thunderous applause)
Thank you, peasants, thank you for finding time to get away from your work! We'll catch up tomorrow and finish harvesting.
Thank you, workers! Do not give your factories to anyone, do not give up jobs, because then you will not return to them, nothing will work there, you will never rebuild the country if you do that.
Thank you, veterans! For your support, for always supporting me!
Thank you, soldiers of our army! For peace and calmness.
Thanks you!
(loud applause, words of support)

Some thoughts on Belarus.
I visited Belarus in April 2018 for an international conference in solidarity with the DPRK organised by the Korean Committee For Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and the Belarus-DPRK Friendship Association.
At the moment is sad to watch a bunch of hipsters backed by US imperialism wreck a peaceful country .
Belarus is certainly an independent state and very patriotic . It is also very anti-fascist , always remembering that the nazis killed 80 per cent of its population during World War Two. It has not tried to blot out the legacy of the Soviet Union , in fact some people seem quite proud of it . What would freak out liberals (as well as Trots and revisionists ) is that favourable references are made to J V Stalin .
However I personally would not go as far as some people have in describing Belarus as the last Soviet state or a socialist country . In fact the trappings of the evil empire can be seen . US imperialist fast food monopolies such as McDonalds, KFC , Burger King and Dominoes have found their way into the country . Also in evidence was a Harley Davison store and there are two US style shopping malls with shops like Pull and Bear .
I was shocked to see that a former Party or trade union building or hall of culture had been turned into a KFC !
I would say that Belarus operates a form of social democracy rather than socialism . Lukashenko appears to believe a phased and controlled transition to capitalism rather than "shock therapy" . No doubt this earnt him the hatred of capitalist fanatics and neo-liberals in the imperialist countries who love the sight of lines of the unemployed , people begging on the streets and foodbanks! We should not be telling people that "Belarus is socialist but the same time we must reject neo-liberal regime change in Belarus and support Belarus 's right to independence . The protests in Belarus are organised by those who want to make Belarus a member of NATO and the EU. Belarus must not become a NATO or EU colony !

A critique of Jack Conrad's "Which Road ' by an anti revisionist
Although published some time ago it is interesting to read the book ' Which Road ' which is a massive of the 1978 'British Road to Socialism ' (BRS) of the former Communist Party of Great Britain . It can said the programmes of most parties on the so-called British left , are variants of the BRS in one form or another .
On the positive side it is well written and easy to read , although a lot of it does ape the style of the the SWP and Socialist Party or uses the Leninist's own jargon such as 'centrism ' and 'official communism ' ( which is never actually clearly defined by Conrad , one assumes it refers to the pro Soviet parts of the world communist movement or probably the pro Sovietists plus Euros , but what about the DPRK , China and various independent communist parties ? ) .
The strengths of the book are that it contains a very detailed critique of the 1978 BRS and even goes beyond that to include the CPB's updated version , the Euro's awful ' Manifesto for New Times ' and Militant's " What We Stand for ' . Conrad can be given credit for actually nailing down the extreme revisionism of the 1978 BRS on the issue of state power and monopoly capitalist rule , other opponents of the BRS did not manage to do this . Conrad then subjects it to a devastating critique . Reading I realised how far the BRS had strayed from Marxism-Leninism of any kind . Indeed the 1978 BRS borders on social democracy and even liberalism ! It is clear that one of the main reasons for the CPGB's sharp decline since 1977 which never levelled out let alone halted , was that with the adoption of the 1978 BRS the CPGB
ended up with a programme that had only virtually paper thin differences with old Labour , the result was that people left the CPGB for the bigger party .
Conrad also criticises other parts of the BRS such as on Ireland . Conrad trenchantly denounces the Labour party as a bourgeois workers party and criticises both Right and left reformism .
However it may have been a waste of time refuting the 'Manifesto for New Times ' of the rump CPGB as this was a self -evident pile of rubbish which had managed to go far beyond modern revisionism . The one useful point Conrad makes it is to point that Euro-communism unlike Labour reformism does not have a social basis in the UK . Indeed it can be added that any revisionist party in the UK is basically surplus to requirement from the point of view of the ruling class as they already have a reformist party in the form of the Labour party ,moreover the British ruling class is culturally anti-communist and ill-disposed to the existence of any kind of communist party .
Also the critique of the CPB's BRS is maybe a bit redundant and pointless as the CPB BRS was basically a warmed up version of the CPGB 1978 BRS , slight to the Left of it.
However Conrad does do an excellent job of exposing the reformism of the then Militant Tendency which became today stodgy Socialist Party which is really a variant of the Labour party .It was useful to be reminded of Militant's collaboration with the police.
There are a number of ways that the book falls down . Conrad does indulge in a lot of pedantry as well as sneering .Political and ideologically the book is full of eclecticism , some ultra leftism , dogmatism and certainly chunks of neo-Trotskyism . Conrad talks about 'unconditional defence of the socialist countries ' but then proceeds to rubbish them . Conrad took a very dim and dismissive of the socialist camp basically denying the superiority of socialism and drawing heavily on bourgeois sources . Reading parts of Conrad's book is like reading something by the SWP ! Conrad even appears to have swallowed Thatcherite and bourgeois propaganda about rising prosperity , workers buying their own homes etc as he takes the CPB to task for talking about the increasing poverty under Thatcher . In fact Conrad has missed the point , in Britain in the 1980s you saw both the growth of the labour aristocracy and the lumpenproletariat , but Conrad does not recognise this .
A massive blindspot for Conrad and the Leninist was anti-revisionism . The anti revisionist struggle of the WPK , CPC and others is airbrushed out of history by Conrad and it can be argued that in some ways Conrad's criticism of the BRS is basically 'reinventing the wheel '. In fact both Korean and Chinese comrades had accused the revisionists of 'prettifying imperialism ' which is basically what the ' British To Socialism ' does .

In Memory of Nina Alexandrovna Andreeva -AUCPB CC
The Soviet and international communist and workers' movement has suffered a heavy and irreparable loss. On July 24, 2020, Nina Alexandrovna Aandreeva, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, passed away in the city of Leningrad, as a result of a serious illness. The heart of a staunch patriot of the Soviet homeland, a penetrating politician, an unyielding Bolshevik, a fighter against opportunism and revisionism in all its forms in the communist movement, an outstanding leader of the international communist movement, a courageous woman, our dear friend and comrade has stopped beating.
Nina Aleksandrovna was born on October 12, 1938 in a working-class family in Leningrad; in 1941, like many of her peers she lost her father, who died at the front. She graduated from high school with a gold medal, with honors from the Leningrad Institute of Technology, a candidate for technical sciences. In 1966, she joined the CPSU. As an honest party member, she always took a firm principled stand. For this, they twice tried to deprive her of her party membership card. Moreover, these were the ones who during the years of perestroika threw away their party cards themselves.
It was in the midst of Gorbachev's perestroika, when the traitors to our homeland launched an attack on the foundations of socialism, that Nina Aleksandrovna showed her firm Bolshevik character by publishing on March 13, 1988 in the newspaper Sovetskaya Rossiya the famous letter “I cannot compromise my principles”. Nina Alexandrovna became known throughout the Soviet Union and beyond. The article exposed Gorbachev's treacherous policy from a point of view of principle. The publication caused such a public outcry that the Politburo of the CPSU Central Committee, at the request of Gorbachev, discussed Andreyeva's arguments against perestroika in special meetings for 2 days. For her and her husband, the publication turned into a savage persecution by her ideological enemies. This letter divided society into two camps – the partisans of the preservation of socialism and those who decided to destroy everything related to the Soviet period. It sparked a wide public debate and was reprinted in 800 regional and local publications.
March 13, 1988 became the day of the rebirth of Bolshevism.
N.A. Andreeva’s principle of life of were Stalin's words: “Not one step back! This should be our main appeal. We must stubbornly, to the last drop of blood, defend every position... Our homeland is going through difficult days. We must stop and then push back and defeat the enemy, no matter what."
From May 18 to 20, 1989, a Founding Conference was held in Moscow, at which the All-Union Society "Unity - for Leninism and Communist Ideals" was established under the leadership of N.A. Andreeva. Nina Aleksandrovna did not just declare the principles, she fought for them, fighting alone in the struggle, to consolidate the masses who remained faithful to socialism, defending the Marxist-Leninist positions of principle. At the Third Conference of the All-Union Society Unity, political mistrust was expressed with the General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee, M.S. Gorbachev, demanding his expulsion and all his clique from the CPSU.
On November 8, 1991, the Founding Congress of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks (VKPB) was held in Leningrad. The main aim of the Congress and the creation of the VKPB was the rebirth of Bolshevism, the revolutionary Marxist tendency, created and encouraged by VI Lenin and JV Stalin, the rebirth of the party which, in the holy war against fascism, led to the Altar of Victory more than three out of five million communists – their best sons and daughters. Millions and millions of workers in the Stalinist decades of the history of the USSR selflessly built, strengthened and defended socialism. And the CPSU (b) of those decades was really their party, the workers' party. Only such a party could lead the country to the victory of communism. The VKPB, created by N.A. Andreeva, seeks to take into account in its work the achievements that the Leninist-Stalinist VKP (b) gave to the country.
More than 30 years have passed since the rebirth of Bolshevism began. Having led the VKPB since November 8, 1991, Nina Aleksandrovna won the respect not only of the workers of the USSR, but also of the entire international communist and workers movement with her loyalty to Marxism-Leninism, her dedication to the cause of Lenin and Stalin in the struggle against the bourgeoisie, opportunism, Zionism and fascism, for the Bolshevization of the communist movement. Nina Aleksandrovna Andreeva published the following books: "Intact Principles," "For Bolshevism in the Communist Movement," "The Future Is for Socialism," which has become in great demand not only in Russia, but also in the world workers’ and movement communist.
Under the leadership of Nina Aleksandrovna Andreeva, the All-European Communist Party of the Bolsheviks, through its active work among the masses, achieved a shift in public consciousness towards the great personality of JV Stalin, erased from Soviet history by the lies, falsifications, empty and vile slanders against our leader. Today, VKPB is growing and strengthening, wining new comrades, friends and allies, bringing a new socialist revolution closer.
All those who had the chance to personally meet and speak with Nina Aleksandrovna Andreeva noted her invariable calm, her benevolence towards everyone, her clarity and certainty in her judgments, and the depth of her understanding of the situation. We will all miss this wonderful person in whom was concentrated an exceptional mind, a subtle intuition and a brilliant gift as a speaker and politician. We are proud that fate has given us the opportunity to fight for socialism under the leadership of Nina Alexandrovna Andreeva.
We will continue the red banner of Lenin-Stalin, raised by Nina Alexandrovna Andreeva! We will continue and lead to victory the work to which Nina Aleksandrovna devoted many decades of her life – the struggle for the rebirth of our Soviet homeland – the USSR,.
We express our sincere condolences to all the family and friends of Nina Alexandrovna Andreeva on the death of this wonderful person.
The memory of Nina Alexandrovna will remain in our hearts forever!

The south Korean and US air forces conducted a joint aerial drill from April 20 to 24.
The fighters including F-16s, F-15Ks and KF-16s were involved in the joint aerial drill. It is a dangerous provocation wrecking peace and security and escalating tensions of the Korean Peninsula.
The south Korea and US air forces have carried out the drill against north Korea.
The south Korea and US air forces conducted Vigilant Ace with involvement of several kinds of fighters and they introduced long-distance strategic bombers and stealth fighters in 2017.
The belligerent south Korean and US forces have driven the situation of the Korean Peninsula into an alarming phase with their reckless joint aerial drill.
The resumption of the joint drill is aimed at pushing the situation of the peninsula to the worst phase.
The international community is making an all-out effort to prevent COVID-19.
It is important to prevent the infectious disease as it is spreading across the world at a breakneck speed. Moreover, it’s more important for the US as it is suffering the heaviest damages in the world.
Nevertheless, the US has clung to the war maneuvers against north Korea with no heed to the safety and treatment of the people. This shows that its wild ambition to invade north Korea reach an extreme pitch of danger.
The joint drill is a crazy behavior of the war maniacs ignorant of trend of the times.
The south Korea-US bellicose forces should suspend warlike actions at once, mindful that their war maneuvers against north Korea will spark off a big splash at home and abroad.

Reeking off smell of powder
On April, 23, the south Korean military carried out a joint landing drill with involvement of the army, the navy, air forces and marine corps in the sea off Pohang of North Gyeongsang Province.
Landing craft, armored vehicles of the marine corps and helicopter were involved in the drill.
Prior to this, the US and south Korean air forces conducted combined aerial drill in south Korea from April 20 to 24.
F-15Ks, KF-16s of south Korean air force and F-16s of the US air force were involved in the drill.
Broad segments of south Korean people reprimand that the military authorities launch dangerous military provocation wrecking peace of the Korean Peninsula regardless of the people’s livelihood.
The preparatory meeting for the national independence conference called a press conference outside the building of the Defense Ministry shouting slogans “eternal suspension of south Korea-US joint military drill”, “condemn introduction of war hardware and arms buildup” and “dissolution of south Korea-US alliance”.
In the press release, they denounced that the warlike forces are keen on confrontation with the same brethren and war maneuvers and making frantic effort to build up the military strength and update the military equipment amid COVID-19 crisis.
The South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration issued a statement to condemn the south Korea-US combined aerial drill on April 24.
The combined drill is so risky that it is aiming at preemptive strike at north Korea. Withdraw the combined drill at once, the organization asserted in the statement.

The letter said that April 15, 1912, the day when
Kim Il Sung was born, was a day of great fortune in the nation's history when the great sun rose, and a significant day in human history that marked the opening of the new era of independence.
The life of the great President shines as the sacred career of the outstanding revolutionary, prominent statesman and kind-hearted father who devoted his all to the destiny of the fellow countrymen and to the bright future of the nation, the letter said, and went on:
Sharing his weal and woe with the people all his life, the President built in the northern half of Korea a powerful socialist country of Juche, an ideal society of humankind which is dignified with independent politics and prosperous by dint of self-supporting economy and which prides on its self-reliant national defence.
The President advanced the most fair and aboveboard, and realistic reunification proposal, powerfully propelled the movement for independent reunification of all the fellow countrymen and steered the political trend of the 20th century with his energetic external activities, thereby performing signal feats in accomplishing the cause of global independence.
The President's history is being praised by the world people today, too.
It is the immense honor and fortune of the Korean nation that it upholds as the eternal sun of Juche the President who performed ever-lasting feats before the country, the nation, the times and history with his outstanding ideology, wise guidance, noble virtue and sweeping revolutionary practices.

Review of the book "Which East Is Red " -by Dermot Hudson
There is no doubt that the 20th congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the speech of Khruschov, attacking JV Stalin , was a total disaster for the socialist camp and international communist movement , Khruschov's speech was the first step on the road to the dissolution of the USSR in 1991 . Many communist parties never recovered from the damage done . Internationally a split arose in the international communist movement as the attempts of the USSR to impose and force the dangerous revisionist line on other parties notably the Chinese and Albanian parties . In many countries 'anti-revisionist' parties were formed and by the mid 1960s there was an open split . A few parties did not take sides or argued for unity , most notably the Workers 'Party of Korea which condemned both modern revisionism (ie the CPSU) and Left opportunism (China and Albania )
In those countries dominated by the USSR , there was a cosying up to the US , the floodgates of imperialist ideological and cultural infiltration were opened and internally there were reforms ( the economic reforms resulted usually in prices going up ) , a gradual dismantlement of the socialist system . When the socialist camp collapsed in the period of 1989-1991 people not only asked why but also raised the question didn't anyone oppose what was going on ? . Well this booklet " Which East Is Red ' by Andrew Smith , goes part of the way to answering this question . Smith is not a communist but a liberal and academic , so of the things in the book need to be taken with a ton of salt . Nevertheless it is goldmine of information on resistance to revisionism from within the USSR and the East European socialist countries though an initial criticism is that the book could be longer with more depth , it also misses out Czechoslovakia , Romania and Yugoslavia . In Yugoslavia anti-revisionists were organised in the Communist Party of Yugoslavia opposed to the official League of Communists of Yugoslavia . In Romania , it was said (but would have to check the reference ) that the Maoists or anti-revisionists functioned inside the ruling Romanian Communist Party , the PCR.
Smith details how in the Georgian SSR of the USSR in March 1956 there were huge pro Stalin demonstrations of up to 70,000 people which ended in riots which were put down by the security forces with loss of life . Later on rank and file members of the CPSU raised awkward questions about the direction of the CPSU such as "“Are we not in fact compromising with imperialism over West Berlin?” and questioned that generous aid was being given to non-socialist countries such as India whilst denying aid to socialist countries such as the People's Republic of China. A number of anti-revisionist groupings were formed within the USSR , mostly small but one the Workers Centre was able to organise strikes . Smith quotes a dissident writer as claiming that in fact most Soviet 'dissidents' supported the socialist system but this is a highly questionable and debatable statement .
The book contains short accounts of anti-revisionist movements in other socialist countries such as the GDR , Hungary , Bulgaria and Poland and has a piece on Albania the only 'anti-revisionist ' European socialist country . I think the best sections are on Bulgaria and Poland . The piece on the little known Bulgarian coup d etat attempt of 1965 is a real nugget . The 'hardline ' Bulgarian leader Vâlko Chervenko( brother in law of Dimitrov ) had been forced out of power by Khruschev in 1956 and later suspended from membership of the Bulgarian party . Todor Zhikov who replaced Chervenko was not only seen as a revisionist but also a puppet of the USSR by more independent minded Bulgarian communists. In 1965 a group of generals and some party leaders staged a coup to try and remove Zhikov but it failed .
In Poland Kazimierz Mijal, who are been a communist partisan leader in Poland in World War , fighting in the Polish People's Army , and a minister in the People's Republic of Poland , formed an anti-revisionist Communist Party of Poland in 1965 . He went into exile in Albania then China and returned to Poland in 1984 only to be arrested by the Polish revisionist regime. Mijal's Communist Party combined anti-revisionism with militant anti-Zionism and Polish nationalism which led to Smith to criticise the party for anti-antisemitism .
The section on Albania is fairly short . It does not really explain how Albania and China fell out so badly with Hoxha even going as far to say that China which he previously praised to the skies was not only revisionist but had never been a socialist country in the first place .
Apart from its short length the book has a number of weaknesses and inaccuracies . Firstly , the author seems totally unaware that there is a lot of evidence that GDR leader Walter Ulbricht was actually opposed to Khruschov's denunciation of Stalin but could not do anything because of the GDR's dependency on the USSR . Some German communists say Ulbricht was the best leader of the GDR and that Honecker was the revisionist . Secondly , Smith omits any mention of the group of CPSU leaders such as Malenkov , Molotov and Kaganovich ( the so-called "Anti Party Group' ) who tried to remove Khruschov in 1957 . Similarly the experience of anti-revisionists in the CPSU such as Nina Andreeva is not mentioned. There is a serious howler in which Smith says the Korean Armistice Agreement in 1953 was signed between "North and south Korea " , in fact as many will know was signed between the US on one side and the DPRK and China on the other , south Korea was never a signatory . Smith also claims that the Vietnamese and Korean parties 'vacillated ' between China and the USSR . This is inaccurate . The Workers ' Party of Korea took an independent position.
Nevertheless this short and easy to read book throws an interesting light on a fascinating subject . You cannot help thinking if only revisionism had been smashed into the ground , the USSR and other socialist countries would be still here today .

Commentary of AINDF spokesman-on visit of south Korean "defence minister ' to US
Some days ago, south Korean Minister of Defense Chung Gyeong-doo made a visit to the US to betrays once again his true colors of confrontation with north Korea.
He, at an informal gathering, said that the south Korea-US alliance is a robust groundwork for peace and security of the Korean Peninsula, while expressing his gratitude to his counterpart for the US “sacrifice and devotion.”
He revealed his sinister attempt to realize complete denuclearization and establishment of permanent peace in the Korean Peninsula on the basis of the south Korea-US alliance and escalate confrontational cooperation with the US.
His junket was designed to get a new instruction from the US and consult sinister scheme with the US.
His junket to the US showed that the south Korean military authorities’ obedience to the US when south Korea is now beset by fear of rapid spread of COVID-19.
Great irony is that Chung ingratiated himself with his counterpart by use of flowery words. However, he came under pressure of hike of defense sharing cost, deployment of THAAD and the extension of general security of military intelligence agreement with Japan.
Their lip-service to the south Korea-US alliance and flattery to the US only invite contempt.
South Korean people of every degree should face up the lopsided south Korea-US relations and make vigorous endeavors to achieve genuine sovereignty.
